NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing was arrested Friday in higher Nashville, officers mentioned.
Williamson County Sheriff’s Workplace spokeswoman Sharon Puckett instructed USA TODAY that Downing was arrested by the Tennessee Freeway Patrol on fees together with DUI and dashing.
Downing, 42, was pulled over in Williamson County alongside Interstate 65 close to Moores Lane, about 15 miles south of downtown Nashville. In response to a preliminary report, a police officer was patrolling southbound I-65 at round 2:30 am when he noticed a automobile touring at excessive velocity.
The officer stopped the automobile and spoke to the driving force, who was recognized as Downing, a sergeant with the freeway patrol. Alex Campbell instructed USA TODAY in an e-mail.
“The officer famous indicators of compromise and the odor of a narcotic coming from the automobile,” the report reads.

Downing was arrested on a DUI cost and booked within the Williamson County Jail. He was launched on bail at 6:46 am on Friday, Puckett mentioned.
It was not instantly recognized whether or not he had obtained a lawyer.

Downing is in his second 12 months because the Titans’ offensive coordinator and has been with the group since 2019. The Minnesota native was employed for his first offensive coordinator job with the Raiders in 2017.
